Monkey D. Luffy
Straw Hat · Captain
Luffy builds a crew by recognizing the life someone wants to live and refusing the bargain that keeps them from it. His instinctive generosity coexists with a stubborn appetite for adventure. He does not seek public credit for liberating countries, but repeatedly makes the people who deny others freedom his enemies.
Dream: Become King of the Pirates: the person with the greatest freedom on the sea. He has also shared a further, still undisclosed dream with a few people.
